 Performance Driving and Racing

If you have an ounce of testosterone you will glory in this section of sliding through turns at >100mph surrounded by buddies only 12" away.

Performance driving is taking your car and participating in a "driver's education" event at your nearest track.  Where they will give you an instructor for the weekend and you will have the greatest time you've ever had in your life.  You will find that it is one of the most difficult things you've every tried to do.  And far more exciting then anything you've ever done.  After a few weeks your coworkers will have to tell you to shut the heck up because they are sick of hearing your stories. Ultimately you may decide to take the next step and try Racing.

Race tales (triathlon, running and cycling).

Victory, defeat, chaos, hilarity. And disaster.

Tales. Most of the hilarity, and all of the Army tales, are here.

The paragraphs that originally followed showered Sarah with praise and admiration.  She was underwhelmed   by her newfound Internet fame.

Solo (and Thomas). Solo is some kind of pitbull-lab mutt that, as a puppy, the Humane Society told us was a "boxer". Gentle and sweet, unless you're the mailman. Not much of a runner.

Moxie, the Australian Cattle Dog as a puppy. Can effortlessly jump 6' up in the air. Perfectly happy to run 10mi. in 80deg. Don't make any cattle-like sounds or she'll spend the evening trying to herd you.
