I too was some what of a computer geek early in my career (25 years with IBM Corp.) but I have failed to keep up with technology as I've been promoted over the years. I got out of college engineering and building radio/tv stations, two way radio systems and such. Enjoyed ham radio and electronics, just don't (or don't make) time for it anymore. Yet, there are many friends, neighbors and colleagues that still think of me as a geek because I'll fix (or attempt anyway) anything electric/electronic. I still enjoy having tools in my hands.
Living near the small village of Dryden in the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York. It's just outside of Ithaca NY, home of Cornell University.
