Marie says born in Landau Helped build the Abbey with the other older children Had cancer of lower jaw and mouth. Stayed at Marie's dad's house for a while. Was a plumber. Source Marie. Marie remembers going to concerts in town. Gladys was a baton twirler in the band. Had heating plumbing shop. Boys worked for him. First person to put up windmills. Big fire ~ fire destroyed everything. Started in a grain elevator. Owned bowling alley. Fine musician, piano, violin, clarinet. Rod's suicide might have been because his wife was going to leave him. |
